TSA TO FIND BAGS THAT CONCEALS THE NOTEBOOK AND YET SHOWS CLEARLY ON X RAY IMAGES

Do you have extreme dislike having to wrench your notebook out of a bursting at the seams bag at security despite the fact that at the same time struggling to obtain your shoes, belt and jacket off all along with emptying alteration from your pockets? Remain tuned, TSA friendly notebook bags may be sneaking in from the house of Targus and Skooba almost immediately. Back in the month of March the TSA made a proclamation that they would be paying attention in bag producers coming up with archetype bags that would permit them to screen notebooks while still packed in the bag.

The TSA stipulates the following requirements:
• The transportation bag cannot go beyond any one of the projected dimensions - 16 inches in height, 24 inches in width and 36 inches in length.
• The materials that are used in making the bag by no means should degrade the eminence of the X-ray image of the notebook.
• No straps, no pockets, no zippers, no handles or closures of the bag can hinder with the X-Ray image of the notebook.
• No electronics, battery chargers, batteries, wires, paper products, pens or any other similar contents of the bag can protect the picture of the notebook.

It appears that a lot of companies saw the luminosity and hurried to blueprint bags that met these necessities. The prototypes were forwarded to the TSA this month. The TSA is at the moment trying the prototypes of these new-fangled notebook cases that permit them to see the notebook evidently without taking the notebook out from the bag.

MSI X SLIM X340 CULV NOT UNDER 1K

We are thankful for Engadget pointing this out, apparently MSI is taking us for a joyride with their pricing schemes. We were told back in January that the X-SLIM laptops would be under the $1k price tag. Well from what we are seeing, its starting at $1,099.

MSI RELEASES NEW X410 X SLIM NOTEBOOK


X410, the latest addition to the MSI X-Slim series of notebooks, is based on the AMD Neo platform. It is an update to the previous X400.

The MSI X410 has a 14 inch LED backlit display with 1366x768 pixels. It comes with an ATI Radeon X1250 GPU which is part of the Neo Platform. The GPU is powerful enough to handle HD 1080i video content. Up to 2GB of RAM can be installed on this notebook. The standard storage option is a 320GB hard disk drive. It can be upgraded to 500GB.

Other features include 1.3MP Webcam, optional Bluetooth, Wi-Fi b/g/n, an SD card reader, HDMI port and gigabit Ethernet. 4 or 8 cell battery options are available. The notebook also features AMD’s PowerNow! technology which is expected to improve battery life.
