HP MINI 311 IS THAT THE BEST NETBOOK IN THE MARKET


The HP Mini 311 has been getting rave reviews since its launch in September. The device is known for being the first thin and light notebook to come with Nvidia ION graphics. Reviewers claim that in overall performance the Mini 311 is better than most netbooks in the market.

Performance
The HP Mini 311 is undoubtedly one of the best netbooks in the market. People who reviewed the netbook has even compared it to other thin and light machines such as MSI X340 and Asus UL30A.

The device runs on a standard Intel Atom processor, but instead of the integrated Intel graphics it uses a powerful Nvidia GeForce 9400M graphics which considerably boosts its video performance. In fact it outperforms every netbook and even some CULV machines in the PCMark05 test.

The Mini 311 is now available in the US market with a starting price of $399.

FIRST ANDROID NETBOOK TO HIT THE MARKET SOON


The Skytone Alpha 680 smartbook is famous for being the first convertible netbook based on the Android platform. Other than that there is nothing special about this device. The Alpha 680 doesn’t have very attractive specifications or capabilities.

Actually this tiny device with its 7-inch (800x480) touchscreen display runs on an ARM 11 533 MHz processor with 128MB RAM. The standard storage option is a 1GB flash drive. Optional upgrades include 256MB RAM and 4GB of flash storage. Users who need more storage space can use the SDHC slot for expansion.

The Alpha 680 was announced in May this year. It is expected to hit the market soon.

DELL HITS THE TOP PLACES OF LAPTOP MARKET

It is rather a surprise for many of the business geeks of the recent reports from Dell. Dell has reached the top places of the laptop market in the year. The officials of the Dell shared happiness with the world and the important personality of the company expressed that Dell’s patient investors are starting to experience the rewards for their patience. According to Thomson Reuters, this No. 2 PC maker reported revenue of $16.1 billion in the quarter ended May 2, up 9% from $14.7 billion a year ago. The conservative technology spending is expected to continue in the summer, the officials said on their happy day.
