Toshiba in the ultraportable laptop business is not news, their line up for the following year (2010) is though. According to Techblog.gr Toshiba will have three new models. A 7-inch netbook transformer thingy with touchscreen and some QWERTY cell phones.

No you did not read wrong. This device is actually $699. And even if it is an ultraportable its still packing some serious power. The 12-inch mini-monster comes with a 2GHz Core 2 Duo T6400 processor, WXGA panel, 4GB of DDR2-800 RAM, 250GB SATA hard drive set up, 8x SuperMulti dual-layer DVD writer WiFi, gigabit Ethernet, three USB 2.0 ports, FireWire, audio in/out, VGA out, 4-in-1 card reader, GMA X4500HD integrated graphics and Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit to boot.
