Well what would you know, the update to one of the most complete netbook packages on the market today has gotten a much needed update. Since netbooks are all about typing and not performance its imperative that a company nails the keyboard layout. So far the only persons to do that has been HP but Asus 1000H did come pretty close. The update to the previously mentioned system now carries that SHIFT key to the left instead of the right, other enhancements include a six-cell battery pack and 802.11n, Bluetooth and were hearing a lower price tag although that price has not been stated as well as the release date. But knowing HP it shouldnt be long before we get some more details on this one. For now enjoy the above picture and continue your fantasizing regime.
Yes we know this is not terribly exciting but those 1000HE Eee models that Asus demoed at CES have begun to ship. More importantly is the fact that they carry a few cool features for the sub $400 netbook crowd like the updated 1.6GHz N280 CPU, and a 9.5 hour battery.
